This blog is run by Sarah Mirk, a writer based in Portland, Oregon. She is working on a book called Sex From Scratch: Rules for Relationships from People Who Make Their Own Rules.
More than half of Americans aren’t married—so it’s high time to step back and figure out what’s working and what’s broken about the way we live and love. In the spring of 2012, Sarah will be traveling around the country interviewing sex and gender writers who have spent their lives learning the ins-and-outs of feminist, queer, nonmonogamous, and nontraditional relationships the hard way.
